Isaiah 30:1-5 tells us about how the  wisdom of the people of Judah was not directed by God's Spirit; instead they had formed alliances that God did not approve of. The Assyrian attack on Jerusalem was overwhelming, making alliance with Egypt looked like an appropriate solution. Human wisdom! undecided  Such coalition demostrated that the leaders of Judah depended on human resources for their protection rather than on God.

The Lord proclaimed in Isaiah 30:3-5

"But by trusting Pharaoh, you will be humiliated, and by depending on him, you will be disgraced. For though his power extends to Zoan and his officials have arrived in Hanes, all who trust in him will be ashamed. He will not help you. Instead he will disgrace you"

May we never seek help from those that will disgrace us in Jesus name. (Amen and Halleluyah to that).

A lot of Christians lose faith sometimes and seek help from places they have already denounced and condemned. Some fail to endure and rush to tell others their problems instead of waiting on the Lord.

Is there anything that the Lord cannot do?

Look up into the heavens, who created all the stars? It is the Lord of host who brings them all out like an army, one after another, calling each by name. Because of his great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. The God of Heaven sees all your troubles and he will never ignore your rights. Put your trust in the Lord and renew your strength. Soar high on wings like the eagle; run unto him and never grow weary; walk unto him and not faint. Why?

ISAIAH 30:18

The lord is waiting for you to come to him and he will show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for his help.

God bless wink

Alleluia! smiley

Psalm 121
1I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Amen!
