As I journey through the bumpy roads of life
To the destination that every human fears.
I have seen much than my pen can write
From the mesuem housing the memories of yesteryears.

I have seen friends bury evil in their tongue.
Waiting for a perfect time to murder me
And caste my remains into the grave of scornful ears,
Who derive joy in seeing me weep

I have been hated by kith and kin
For the sins of my ancestors who died before my birth.
They cage these evil in their hearts, while calling me brother
But they still ask the gods to visit me speedily with death.

These yesteryears memories made me the man I have become.
By creating in me a mind of a survival,
Who see no reason to hate anyone,
But is selective of who he calls a friend and brother.
