Bulama's Appointment: Ohikere Slams Shuaibu


The Former Commissioner of Information of Kogi state and a staunch APC Stakeholder has on Thursday voiced out his stands over the purported crisis in the ruling All Progessive Congress (APC), saying that the unruly behaviour exhibited by Lawal Shuaibu, APC Deputy National Chairman for the North is a clear display of shameful acts of indiscipline and political rascality.”

He said for Senator Shuaibu who was recalled from suspension as part of resolution of the lingering crisis that rocked the party to describe the decision and subsequent appointment of Arc. Waziri Bulama as the acting National Secretary of the APC by the Leadership of the party as "Nullity" is undemocratic and unorthodox and his plot to disintegrate the party would not be fruitful, he should retrace his steps for the interest of the party, he added.

Ohikere said Sen Lawal Shuaibu has no moral standing to challenge the decision of the Leadership of the party having beeing one of the principal causes of the crisis that led us to losing every thing in Zamfara. Adding that Shuaibu is neither the party's publicity Secretary nor legal adviser so should not infiltrate the atmosphere with statements capable of disintegrating the party that took years of cooperate efforts and sacrifice to build " the party's interest remains sacrosanct and would not be subjugated to anyone's personal interest "

The party statesman however without hesitation, expressed his undiluted and absolute confidence in the sterling and patriotic leadership of the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, who has been doing excellently well and won two tough elections . He commended the choice of Arc. Waziri Bulama as the acting National Secretary of APC saying its the right decision at this point, adding that Bulama is the best man for the job.

He said Bulama is an organizational reformer of proven capacity and his role in the Presidential election was undeniably superb.

"Ach. Waziri is a man with impeccable character, a person that you can vouch for and is very hard working. He knows what to do per time. “In fact, he has already started doing that trying to work and carry everybody along so that APC should deliver on its mandate and that is what he is going to do”.

Recall, Giadom loses seat as acting National Secretary
During the brief suspension of Oshiomhole, Giadom had reportedly paraded himself as the acting national secretary , saying he was the most senior party official in the absence of the embattled APC chairman.
With Oshiomhole's victory, Giadom has lost the chance to parade himself as the acting national secretary . Also, he can no longer function as the acting national secretary as the party's National Working Committee has appointed Waziri Bulama as the acting national secretary.

For the party to remain strong in power we need someone who have what it takes to unite the party and take the party to greater height and not someone who is known for devide and rule.
Bulama is the man that can stabilize the party he should be allowed to pilot the affairs of the party as the acting National Secretary for the good interest of the party and advised him to accept reality and be a good sport man .
