Majek Fashek, Legendary Reggae star, died on the 1st of June 2020 in New York city, the late singer was born on the 7th of March 1963 and died on the 1st of June 2020,

The cause of his death is said to be due to cancer he has been battling with over the year according to Vanguard news.

Late Majekodunmi Fasheke also known as Majek Fashek manager Joy Tongo confirmed the incident on the singer’s Instagram page on Tuesday morning.

According to him, Majek Fashek died 1st of June 2020 at around 11.45 pm GMT.

The singer's manager also confirmed that Majek Fashek was moved from London to New York where he was receiving his treatment before he died. He also worked with the doctor's idea by moving the singer close to his family, that is from London to New York, where his family reside.

However the manager also confirmed that late Majekodunmi Fasheke has not been with his family for the past 10 years until last year (2019) September when they were reunited.
