Premier League clubs are agreeing to organize friendly matches ahead of the league resumption, according to the Press Association. Top-flight action across the PL and EFL competitions are suspended since March due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, ‘Project Restart’ is on the way and EPL matches are to resume on June 17. Players stepped up from socially-distanced to small group training. However, last week saw some clubs going on to take part in in-house 11-a-side matches. This decision is to fine-tune players fitness and readiness ahead of the resumption of Premier League action.
