A Postgraduate student of University of Ibadan named Shomuyiwa Azeezat was raped and killed.

This took place on Thursday night June 4th in her apartment in Ijefun Moniya road, Akinyele LGA of Oyo state. Some Eyewitness saw a big stone near her mattress,concluded that her head which was covered with blood was smashed with the stone.

An eyewitness who saw this said that her neighbors found her dead this morning in her apartment and Immediately informed the police. .

After some investigation by the Oyo State police command,the neighbors said that they did not hear anything at night and went away to avoid further questioning.”

After the incident which happened few days after Bello Barakat was also raped and killed in Ibadan,now left many social media users seeking for justice for the late rape victim with the hashtag #JusticeForAzeezat.
