Dropshipping can work.

Have you thought about that badass fashion designer living next to you or who's office is at Lekki or someone that own a restaurant with the best Nigerian meal.

If yes, then Dropshipping those locally and getting delivery in 1 to 3 days is guaranteed.

That's the first thing that should come to mind when thinking about Nigeria market.

I will tell you the only reason, its just one...

The only reason DROPSHIPPING doesnt work in Nigeria is because No Nigerian Want To Pay For A Product And Wait For 7-15days Delivery. Trust Issues is the Problem, but if you have a strong online based existing customers, then it can work. Like Jumia Global for instance. If you have a fast shipping company, that can ship within 3days with less expensive shipping rate, then it might work.

There are a lot of businesses that work theoretically but when you actually start it you realise that you will face stiff challenges due to dishonesty among Nigerians and our very weak legal system!

i can only speak authoritatively about dropshipping in Nigeria with zero naira.

all you need is just social media pages, a phone and internet.
