Master Mmadu Elijah Chinazaekpere gained admission into Imo State University in 2016 like any other student who sought to further their education in a tertiary institution but currently the narrative is not the same as he is in the battle of his life.

The young scholar had a near-fatal accident some six months ago that has not only tampered with his academic pursuit (as he missed the whole of first semester academic activities) but is on the brink of losing his life if help doesn't come his way soon.

He suffered life-threatening injury to his lap as a result of the terrible accident and hasn't received adequate medical care ever since.

The injury that is now eating him up like termites, causing his lap to decay hasn't received the necessary medical attention despite the plethora of hospitals he had been taken to due to the humongous financial implications.

Presently, he has been taken to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) at Idi Araba, Mushin, Lagos for series of major operations that is in the region of the sum of two million naira (N2,000,000.00) and the medical personnels have insisted on a substantial deposit of the money for operation to commence.

I make a passionate appeal to all Imo Stars and well-meaning Nigerians to help save the live of this promising young lad by making financial contributions - no amount is too small.
