In Nigeria, so many youths now see Internet fraud as a means of making quick money, youths who engage in these crimes become rich overnight without their parent knowing the source of their quick made money. They buy expensive cars, houses and exhibit luxurious lifestyle on social media, therefore compelling their friends into joining.

Despite the arrest being made by security agencies, there is still an alarming increase on daily basis. This practice have been taken outside the shores of Nigeria and it is damaging the reputation of the country.
