Hello guys,please I want to know if the popular Passat wagon of 1996,1997 1998 model, the one that is normally used for inter-state transport good for a starter,considering fuel economy,availability of spare parts, durability etc. i am considering it being my first car.please help a brother.thanks

Better up for Nissan ALMERA 2001 to 2004. You'll thank me later.

yes 96/97 model is very durable Dont go for those ones with curvy body betterstill go for golf3 wagon besides upload the pix of the car you are talking about.

Go for golf3 or golf3 wagon. Passat is problematic.
