It may interest you to know that the North loses nothing and gains everything if this country divides, (we've been anticipating and advocating for that). The North is blessed with abundance of agricultural produce which at the moment, feeds Nigeria as a whole. Gold, which is one of the precious resources of the earth is found in northern states like Zamfara, Kebbi and Katsina.

What's the South proud of? Petroleum? I thought Covid-19 has taught you some lessons that petroleum is one of the useless resources to boast and rely on. The barrel that contains raw petroleum is now worth more than the fuel itself. Again, since last 7yrs ago, Nigeria has generated less than $20 billion annually from petroleum. On the other hand, leather from animal skins (North) has generated over $50 billion as export which in turn come back to Nigeria as shoes, handbags, car seats etc and many other countries.

Kindly help me do a research on how much the south and the north contribute to Nigeria economy and see who is going to be affected by break up. How much does the northern states contribute to Nigeria GDP compare to the Southern states?
