The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 819 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures.

Part of this 819 people includes our very own Genevieve Nnaji. Therefore, if she accepts the invitation, she will be among the people who vote for the prestigious Oscars award.

Akin Omotoso was also extended an invitation. He belongs to the Directors category.

Being an Oscar award voter is a thing of pride in the film community. So they have decided to include more people in the voting, and Genevieve is one of the people.
