The Nigerian senate has passed a new Bill to protect students in tertiary institution against predatory lecturers who wants to take advantage of them. The Bill was passed Tuesday, July 7, 2020. The bill titled: ‘A Bill for an Act to prevent, prohibit and redress Sexual Harassment of students in tertiary educational institutions and for matters concerned therewith, 2019’, Was sponsored by the Deputy Senate President.
