The traditional book of the top four, the law and covenant of the EPL for the past two decades has been torn to shreds and no only are we likely to see a top 6 but next season might see up to eight teams tearing at each other for honours.

My only wish is to find clubs like Everton the 2 to 300 million pounds it will take for Carlo to regain his legendary grin once more.

The Premiership has never had it this good.
