As always when we are called in for finishing jobs on a carcass, is our culture to check the walls and edges for straightness, especially already plastered walls.

Most clients make mistake of thinking that finishing works starts from screeding and POP. The answer is no, it actually starts from plastering cos that is the pivot on which most finishing operation revolves.

Breaking and reinstatement of door lintels to required height.

Observe the new height for the door spaces. When these doors are fixed, I promise you they will stand tall and look elegant.

Moulds are already forming on plaster, cos they did a shady job on the water collector.We will be removing all installed rain collectors and reinstall later.

Correction of affected edges

Demolition of attached building at the rear, this structure has taken all the available space. There is no reason for it to be there hence the demolition with approval from the client.

Replastering of bent walls, this operation will continue round the building till all iregularities are corrected.

New look so far. The concrete facia is being corrected. Concrete pillars have been properly dressed, we are getting there!

Thank you for stoping by.
Tailorin as it sounds is a 'pseudo' name giving to a mixture of cement, sand and water in disproportionate ratio. Is usually applied on already plastered surfaces to roughen the wall to receive fresh plaster. This is used where you don't intend to break off the existing plaster.

Whether we are doing reconstruction or make over, I believe its reconstruction cos we have to a large extent done a lot of remodelling on this structure.

On mould formation, observe that this structure is at carcass stage, not painted nor finished and this moulds are already ravaging the structure, this is solely a problem of bad workmanship on the rain collector causing it to leak and soak all the walls.

Still on reconstruction work. We had to creat alternative access to the walk in closet for the master bedroom, it must not be accessed only through the bathroom!
