In a bid to curtail mass gatherings, Gov. Nyesom Wike placed a ban on Market activities due to the infamous Pandemic -Covid19.

This brought about the shutting down of main market areas all over Rivers State but unfortunately, this also gave rise to street marketing of goods and food items with no preventive measures whatsoever.

Attached herewith is a picture of a largely crowded street market along Niger street and it's adjoining junctions (Town region of PortHarcourt city)

Something should be done about this, considering both the financial implications on these sellers and their health.

He should please open the markets......he can give them days to trade but he must consider the fact that hunger kills too......so you can't shut people's source of income and expect them to act sane.

Thot they said PHC is a billionaire city?
Anyways, when a stupid government is elected in a democratic country, the best thing about this is that you learn the number of stupid people in that country!

People no longer care about COVID when hunger is in the land. I'm looking forward to school resumption, cause that's the most important.

Wike what happened to the 79 abi 97 billion naira Amaechi/federal government gave Rivers state?

Just look at the most "OIL RICH" state in Nigeria. Now compare it with a market or crowded street from Oman, UAE, Bahrain etc and see the difference.

Later you people will say we should not ask for Independence of NigerDelta republic or execute the likes of Wike
