Why most people don't believe in prophecy by Missyajoke(f): 1:45am On Aug 01, 2020
Happy Sunday everyone, am here to share a short or probably long message titled " why people no longer believe in the prophetic "

How, then, shall we define the gift of prophecy? In the midst of a number of helpful comprehensive definitions of the gift of prophecy. Cecil Robeck's understanding seems to best encompass the important points. He defines the New Testament prophecy as a spontaneous manifestation of God's grace, received by revelation, (sometimes as a vision, at other times as impressions or thoughts) and spoken by the Spirit through a Christian who has been given a gift of prophecy, in the language of those who hear the prophetic word spoken."[10]
The Christian prophet is a "spokesman for God," much as Aaron was for Moses before Pharaoh (Ex 4:15-17; 7:1),[11] one who speaks what he hears by revelation rather than from his own mind. Revelation characterizes the gift. In its broadest understanding the prophetic outpouring of the Spirit must be understood as the intimate revelation of God Himself to His people.

Before delivering a prohesy you have to be sure who is speaking is it God, Devil, or the Flesh. At times most people delivers messages in which God didn't send them to deliver. In delivering prophecy you have to ask for divine leading to understand what it is about. Prophecy discloses things that may happen now, later or in the future. Most people misinterprete prophetical message. At times most people prophesy through the flesh. If God doesn't send you to deliver a message don't because it may attract terrible consequences. If God sends you to deliver a prophetical message to someone don't hesitate deliver the message asap. The gift of the prophecy is a very powerful gift and if a man misuse it the gift can lead to his doom. The Gift of prophecy is meant to edify and if does'nt edify it's fake. Our God is a God of surprises and he can change his mind about any situation, but what I want you to know is that once he has spoken he has. Now let's looks at the story of Jonah, he was angry with God for not destroying the people of Nineveh but when he preached to them Jonah didn't know they had repented and how God did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened. Now from Jonah case we can see how God changed his mind at the last minutes. Let's look at the answer God gave Jonah and God said" But Nineveh has more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left hand and may cattle as well. Should I not be concerned about the great city? At times a preacher may prophecy about something whether Good or bad and if it doesn't come to past people will start labeling him as fake. One thing I want you to know is that God can change his mind about a thing but the purpose will be fulfilled. Let read 1 John 4:1 " it says Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. Ask God for a discerning sprit in order to differentiate true prophecy from false prophecy. Now let's look at King Hezekiah was very sick to a point of death and prophet isiah went to him saying " Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover. Before isiah has left the middle court, and the lord said to him " Go and tell Hezekiah the leader of my people on the third day from now on you will go up to the temple of the Lord and I will add fifteen years to your life. Can't you see God his wonderful at the last minute he changed his mind. If God can change his mind why can't a prophetical message change. But I want you to know that God can postpone the fulfillment of a prophecy year, or years but it doesn't mean of won't come to past.

May God bless us all Good night.
If God no send you message no deliver cause no one will be there when you're serving your punishment. Stop now before God deals with you. God loves you.
