A company engaged in the production and sales of cereal products seeks to engage a personnel for the following position:

1. Job Title: Food Production Supervisor (Ikeja, Lagos)

Responsibilities:
Accomplish production targets through subordinates by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintain production work flow by
- monitoring alignment to approved policies and procedures;
- Determining inputs required to achieve targets;
- Identifying and monitoring critical control points
- Identifying, communicating and implementing process improvement
- Identifying and communicating opportunity cost reductions to Management
- Developing and reporting on policies, procedures and systems on a needs basis
- Working cooperatively with other departments to achieve organisational objectives

Oversee the cost effectiveness and planning of the entire production process.
Budget, schedule work and coordinate the activities of the various production units.
Form and manage the production team.
Organise production meetings


Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification-HND/Degree in food science and technology or related discipline
1-3 years’ experience in a related role in a food processing company
