Tbh, i dont think u can really compare the two, or even the old stars to the modern ones. due to all the sound, and technology nonses used for music in this century, the voices of modern singers may not be noticed as much. another thing is that people like Whiney huston, mariah carey etc, sang different songs compared to people like Rihanna. so there u go, but i will admit one singer that has a not-so-good voice without the sound and all that, is Kelly Rowland. i watched her performance, and i thought, uh ohhhhh
