Apart from those covered by recalls what other factory flaws have u noticed in your car
Well for my toys the smart fortwo (1999-2006) if the car sits for too long the alternator will get stuck
And the hubs will get stiff, will require a lot more energy to free them

My 98crv was parked since February this year. The distributor and the alternator stopped working.

My wife's Infiniti fuel gauge meter is random. It's been very much talked about online. Also, the TPMS light has a mind of its own. Is well documented online.

Acura Tl. Side mirrors can't be set to dim lights from other vehicles. Acura put the feature in the rear view mirror but somehow managed not to include it in the side mirrors. Kind of defeats the purpose.

The 1998 CR-V is a rugged workhorse. I owned one from 2015 till late 2019 when I sold it & my distributor & alternator never gave me issues. The engine components are very solid however, the only factory defect is the suspension system. Bushings, upper arms, shafts, etc don't last up to 4 months of constant usage.
Other than that, I really enjoyed that ride.

Buy a new thermostat for your car. Reconnect the fans back to factory settings.

I guess it's because I parked it for months without use, cos prior to that it was working well.
It's not good to park cars for long.

Oga for your golf 3 overheating, first you need to check for leakage in your radiator, because if you are low on coalant or water your car will probably overheat, check if your car still have thermostat, a thermostat that is stuck closed will caused overheating. Thirdly check your cooling fan if the are still good shape, your can also check your water, a bad water pump will cause overheating. Answer these, does your radiator fan comes up immediately you start the car?. I have use three golf mk3 and i have not exprienced any overheating before.

I think my ignorance caused a lot. the speedometer Censor i saw when i bought the car don't read fuel, so I've to change the speedometer censor but I realized the fuel read but the speedometer and the temperature gauge ceases and stop working later

Stop driving the car for the mean time and get the temperature guage fixed, i always have my eyes on my temperature guage while driving. Also check your engine oil and your radiator if you have oil in them.
