Indeed African music and musicians are pushing the African sound worldwide. Recently the Former USA President Barack Obama started supporting the music industry by using his platform yearly to list out some music he listens to, with the title BARACK OBAMA'S SUMMER PLAYLIST.

If we can remember, last year the President mention Nigeria's up and coming mavin artist REMA on the list of 2019 with other top names over the globe. This year, Africans in the list now include:

Davido and Tem with their song KNOW YOUR WORTH which also featured American singer Khalid

WizKid with his song SMILE which also featured American singer H.E.R

Burna Boy with the song BE HONEST which featured American singer Jorja Smith.

and Ghanaian Star Shatta Wale with the song ALREADY which featured American singer Beyonce and major Lazer

with this increase in African Artist from last year's list, he hope to see what 2021 summer playlist will feature.
