In the olden days, prophetic utterances were final and apt. Once it is professed, it would be regarded as having happened already. But if his words failed, he wouldn't be spared(Deut. 18:22). But it's not the same in our modern day Christianity.

There is this boy in my local Assembly who deals on phone accessories. 2 years ago, a church programme was organized and an outside speaker took charge. He called this guy's name and told him everything about him including what he does for a living.

A prophetic utterance was made on him that by that time next year (that was in 2018 meaning by 2019) money would worship him as his name would be heard all over the nation.

Fastfoward to two years and this boy is still pushing his wares on wheel barrow.

Can someone enlighten me on this.
