You can request for an emergency appointment 60 days prior to your programme start date.
You need your SEVIS fee payment receipt and i20 to request for emergency appointment.

Rescheduling is to get another date that is after your normal interview date. Emergency appointment is different from rescheduling.

If you had told me earlier before picking August 13th, I would have told you to still hold on and await release of closer date.
As it stands, you have to wait for emergency appointment request.

Yeah I’m sorry I had to come back. I recently got to know about a group where people announce early dates available for Lagos and Abuja. Is it not possible for me to quickly reschedule once they announce an early date available for Lagos sir? I just wanna try and make use of any other opportunity instead of relying on only the emergency appointment if possible sir.

You cannot reschedule to a date earlier than your initial appointment date.
That is why I proposed using emergency appointment option.
