Atletico Madrid returned to work on Tuesday afternoon boosted by the news that they had no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in their squad.




The update came as both Diego Costa and Santiago Arias overcame their previous positive results to be freed of the virus.

Both had been working at their respective homes until Tuesday, after testing positive for the coronavirus.

Before returning to work with their teammates, they each had individual meetings with CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin.

Arias knows that he is the most likely of the defenders to leave the club this transfer window as Los Rojiblancos are looking to cut their salary bill, while Diego Costa remains determined to see out his remaining contracted year, complicating any potential exit for the Spain international.,
