If you're going to argue that an individual is minimizing persecution of a religious group, the last thing you'd do is quote mine from a video specifically made by that person to denounce and draw attention to the group's followers being tortured. But that's precisely the trick Jehovah's Witnesses tried to pull in section 3 of their "hate speech" dossier against yours truly.
