37 YEARS YOKE OF BARRENESS BROKEN Of all the glut of testimonies received over the weekend, the testimony of Mrs Esther Abu who worships with The Lord's Chosen ,Kano state ,seem to be the cream of the crop. If it is traumatic for any married woman not to be able to give her husband a child for five or six years, then imagine what Mrs Esther Abu who hails from Udanebiomi, Dekina local Government Area of Kogi State has gone through for the past thirty seven years of barrenness. Scientifically, it is proven that some women enter menopause at their late thirties, forties, fifties and even sixties. During this period, the mestrual circle of a woman comes to an end and the function of the ovaries ceases; which makes a woman unable to give birth to a child. But it is written, that “with God, nothing shall be impossible.” When Mrs Esther got married in 1983, she never knew there lies banana-skins ahead that will bring her so much unrest and even cause her depression. She went from church to church, but still, the problem tarried; until she decided to join chosen in year 2011.
