you are actually correct, Brazil is a big brand in football, if a very good Togolese player and an average Brazilian player are recommended for scouting, chances are higher for the Brazilian to get picked ahead of the Togolese because of the reputation of " Brazil" in world soccer.

I am sure this guy is average at best but he is riding on the " Brazilian brand", the story won't be the same if Kwara United signed a Burundian with the same football abilities as this guy.
