Candidates who possess any of the following qualifications are eligible to apply for admission into the 2-year Diploma in Physical and Health Education Programme;

Senior Secondary School Certificate with at least three [3] Credit Passes;
Grade II Teachers Certificate with at least three [3] Merit Passes;
General Certificate of Education [GCE] with at least Three [3] Credit Passes at 0’Level;
Mature Candidates not less than 35 years of age who are also International/National athletes with Medals/Certificates can benefit from the Programme with at least Two [2] Credits.

LASU supplementary postgraduate admission for 2020/2021 Academic session

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, Postgraduate School is inviting applications from suitably eligible candidates for admission into the under listed postgraduate programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

General Requirements for LASU supplementary postgraduate admission

The University requires five (5) CREDITS including English Language at O'Level (GCE, WASC, SSCE, NECO and NABTEB) for ALL courses and credit in MATHEMATICS at O'Level for SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCES, MANAGEMENT SCIENCES.

FACULTY OF SCIENCE

Postgraduate Diploma in Pest and Environmental Management

Admission Requirements: The following categories would be eligible for admission for the PGD PEM Programme:

i. B.Sc degree with at least Third (3rd) Class in Zoology, Agricultural Science, Fisheries, Biology, Biochemistry, Botany, Microbiology and any related discipline from the Lagos State University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Lagos State University.

ii. B.Ed degree in Biology of at least Third (3rd) class from Lagos State University or any other University recognized by the Senate of Lagos State University.

iii. Higher National Diploma (HND) in Environmental Studies Forestry, Health Technology, Science Laboratory Technology, Medical Science Laboratory Technology, and any other relevant course.

iv. Applicants must satisfy the O'Level admission requirements as recommended by the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for undergraduate Biology and related courses.

DURATION: This programme will run for 2 (two) semesters.
