The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 103 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 59,841. No new death was recorded while there were 148 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 103 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (39), Rivers (21), FCT (19), Oyo (6) Kaduna (4), Bauchi (3), Ogun (3), Imo (2), Kano (2), Benue (1), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), Plateau (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 103 cases were from 13 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 39. Rivers State followed with 21 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 19 cases. 148 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 51,551 from 51,403. No new death was recorded.
