The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 111 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 60,103. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 97 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 111 new cases are reported from 11 states- Plateau (32), Lagos (23), FCT (15), Osun (11), Ogun (9), Oyo (6), Imo (4), Bauchi (3), Kaduna (3), Yobe (3), Rivers (2). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 111 cases were from 11 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 32. Lagos State followed with 23 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 15 cases. 97 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 51,711 from 51,614. Two new deaths were recorded.
