The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 163 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 60,266. No new death was recorded while there were 24 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 163 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos (113), Kaduna (21), Osun (  , Ondo (5), Oyo (5), Ogun (3), Bayelsa (2), Taraba (2), Edo (1), FCT (1), Katsina (1), Plateau (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 163 cases were from 12 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 113. Kaduna State followed with 21 cases while Osun State had 8 cases. 24 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 51,735 from 51,711.
