The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 148 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 60,982. No new death was recorded while there were 51 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 148 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos (66), FCT (25), Oyo (13), Plateau (11), Kaduna (7), Rivers (6), Ebonyi (5), Ekiti (4), Ogun (4), Imo (2), Ondo (2), Edo (1), Nasarawa (1), Taraba (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 148 cases were from 14 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 66. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 25 cases while Oyo State had 13 cases. 51 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 52,194 from 52,143. No new death was recorded.
