The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 212 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 61,194. Three new deaths were recorded while there were 110 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 212 new cases are reported from 8 states- Lagos (85), Oyo (72), FCT (21), Ogun (11), Plateau (11), Katsina (6), Kaduna (5), Osun (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 212 cases were from 8 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 85. Oyo State followed with 72 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 21 cases. 110 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 52,304 from 52,194. Three new deaths were recorded.
