NCDC Announces 4,253 Recoveries In One Day by Newsbreakers: 9:24am On Oct 18, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 113 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 61,307. Four new deaths were recorded while there were 4,253 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 113 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos (37), Kaduna (16), Ogun (11), Plateau (11), Taraba (cool, Rivers (7), FCT (6), Enugu (4), Niger (4), Edo (3), Delta (2), Imo (2), Benue (1), Kano (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 113 cases were from 14 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 37. Kaduna State followed with 16 cases while Ogun State had 11 cases. 4,253 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 56,557 from 52,304. Four new deaths were recorded.
