The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 133 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 61,440. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 54 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 133 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (90), Rivers (13), FCT (  , Kaduna (, Oyo (6), Ondo (3), Katsina (2), Nasarawa (2), Plateau (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 133 cases were from 9 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 90. Rivers State followed with 13 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 8 cases. 54 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 56,611 from 56,557. Two new deaths were recorded.
