The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 118 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 61,558. No new death was recorded while there were 86 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 118 new cases are reported from 10 states - Lagos (51), Rivers (26), Imo (12), Osun (, Plateau (6), FCT (5), Kaduna (4), Ogun (3), Edo (2), Niger (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 118 cases were from 10 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 51. Rivers State followed with 26 cases while Imo State had 12 cases. 86 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 56,697 from 56,611. No new death was recorded. Find the breakdown below.
