For sometime now the Association of resident doctors in Nigeria has been factionalized into a Northen and a south-western faction. This has also led to several disorganized approaches towards making and achieving demands from government. Most times all they -govt has to to is support or infiltrate one vulnerable group and whatever agitation is quenched. Now, several attempts have been made towards uniting these groups however, the various leaders due to selfish interest as reasons always move to sabotage these efforts. the resultant effect of all these is several ineffective strikes with little or no outcome and poor public sympathy.
