The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 147 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 62,371. Four new deaths were recorded while there were 179 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 147 new cases are reported from 12 states - Lagos (82), FCT (20), Rivers (9), Kaduna (  , Plateau (, Benue (5), Edo (3), Kano (3), Nasarawa (3), Taraba (3), Ogun (2), Bauchi (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 147 cases were from 12 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 82. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 20 cases while Rivers State had 9 cases. 179 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 58,095 from 57,916. Four new deaths were recorded.
