The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 170 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 62,691. Three new deaths were recorded while there were 181 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 170 new cases are reported from 11 states- Lagos (106), FCT (25), Oyo (14), Edo (7), Kaduna (7), Ogun (4), Bauchi (2), Benue (2), Kano (1), Osun (1), Rivers (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 170 cases were from 11 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 106. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 25 cases while Oyo State had 14 cases. 181 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 58,430 from 58,249. Three new deaths were recorded.
