The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 180 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 63,508. No new death was recorded while there were 73 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 180 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos (87), Oyo (51), FCT (12), Plateau (10), Edo (4), Ekiti (3), Ogun (3), Bauchi (2), Kaduna (2), Niger (2), Kano (1), Ondo (1), Osun (1), Rivers (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 180 cases were from 14 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 87. Oyo State followed with 51 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 12 cases. 73 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 59,748 from 59,675. No new death was recorded.
