The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 59 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 63,790. No new death was recorded while there were 40 recoveries. Kaduna State topped the list. The 59 new cases are reported from 8 states- Kaduna (28), Rivers (9), Ogun (  , Ondo (, Kano (2), Niger (2), Kwara (1), Plateau (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 59 cases were from 8 different states. Kaduna State recorded the highest number of cases with 28. Rivers State followed with 9 cases while Ogun State had 8 cases. 40 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 59,884 from 59,844.
