I guess this mode of parking should be more important when probably you are parking on a Sloppy terrain.

The right thing to do is, as you push your gear to 'P' with your leg still depressed on the brakes, pull up your hand brake. You are good to go. This takes off the stress of the car weight from the gear box.

So what does the P stand for if not park?, it would have been good if this was coming from one of the car manufacturers not a blog by someone who cant manufacture a valve cover!
