The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 156 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 64,884. One new death was recorded while there were 146 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 156 new cases are reported from 11 states- Lagos (70), FCT (22), Kaduna (18), Rivers (15), Plateau (11), Ogun (10), Bauchi (3), Katsina (3), Kano (2), Ekiti (1) and Osun (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 156 cases were from 11 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 70. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 22 cases while Kaduna State had 18 cases. 146 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 60,936 from 60,790. One new death was recorded.
