The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 112 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 64,996. No new death was recorded while there were 93 recoveries. The Federal Capital Territory topped the list. The 112 new cases are reported from 15 states- FCT (27), Oyo (27), Bayelsa (9), Rivers (9), Delta (7), Edo (5), Kaduna (5), Ogun (5), Anambra (3), Katsina (3), Ondo (3), Osun (3), Plateau (3), Niger (2) and Kano (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 112 cases were from 15 different states. The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of cases with 27. Oyo State followed with 27 cases while Bayelsa State had 9 cases. 93 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 61,029 from 60,936. No new death was recorded.
