Officers will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of Security Services.

INFORMATION
• Position: Corporate Security Officers
• Location: FCT Abuja
• Hours: Average between 60 hours per week
• Shifts: DAYS & NIGHTS

Job Requirements
• Experienced Security Officers required with at least 1 year
• Experience in CCTV Operations is a bonus
• Experience of working in a demanding, and sometimes high-pressure sites
• Have a clear understanding and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
• Self-motivated & able to work on own initiative. Team player, patient, loyal, dedicated, reliable and trustworthy a role model, articulate, persuasive, assertive and flexible with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Will have experience and knowledge of the Timegate system
• Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Physically able to carry out duties
• Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Will hold minimum Ordinary National Diploma (OND) qualification
• Excellent understanding of the prevailing industry standards

Key Responsibilities
• To ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times as required by the Client Representative(s)
• To adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Duty Security Manager or the Regional Manager
• Will have the ability to perform investigations to the highest standard and be highly competent on reporting their findings
• Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery
• Will assist in the operational planning and deployment of resources for all planned projects and events across the site
• To respond to all incidents, taking ownership of the situation through to its natural conclusion to both client and management satisfaction
• To identify and drive innovation across the contract
• Empower the estate team to report defects, difference in the environment whilst out on the estate
• Carry out any other reasonable request as required by the Client/Site Management
Operations
• Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Deputy Operations Managers to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard professional security service
• Liaise with the Deputy Operations Managers on any problems which may occur throughout the day
• Liaise with the Regional Manager to ensure complete coverage of the estate and manage any areas where responsibilities overlap
• Carrying out your required duties with regards to the CCTV, Fire and Security systems, and all other systems appropriate to this area of responsibility
• Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures
• Provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities training as defined by the client
• Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team
• Set high personal standards for others to follow.
• Ensure duties are carried out in accordance with procedures and policies
• Manage all life safety equipment, train and refresh on life safety equipment at 3 monthly intervals
• Ensure all reporting standards are maintained at the highest level
• Ensure all incidents and issues are formally investigated and recorded

• Experienced Security Officers required with at least 1 year
• Experience in CCTV Operations is a bonus
• Experience of working in a demanding, and sometimes high-pressure sites
• Have a clear understanding and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
• Self-motivated & able to work on own initiative. Team player, patient, loyal, dedicated, reliable and trustworthy a role model, articulate, persuasive, assertive and flexible with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Will have experience and knowledge of the Timegate system
• Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Will have the ability to perform investigations to the highest standard and be highly competent on reporting their findings
• Deliver and encourage outstanding customer service delivery
• Will assist in the operational planning and deployment of resources for all planned projects and events across the site
• To respond to all incidents, taking ownership of the situation through to its natural conclusion to both client and management satisfaction
• To identify and drive innovation across the contract
• Empower the estate team to report defects, difference in the environment whilst out on the estate
• Carry out any other reasonable request as required by the Client/Site Management
Operations
• Report & liaise on a daily basis with the Deputy Operations Managers to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard professional security service
• Liaise with the Deputy Operations Managers on any problems which may occur throughout the day
• Liaise with the Regional Manager to ensure complete coverage of the estate and manage any areas where responsibilities overlap
• Carrying out your required duties with regards to the CCTV, Fire and Security systems, and all other systems appropriate to this area of responsibility
• Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures
• Provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities training as defined by the client
• Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team
• Set high personal standards for others to follow.
• Ensure duties are carried out in accordance with procedures and policies
• Manage all life safety equipment, train and refresh on life safety equipment at 3 monthly intervals
• Ensure all reporting standards are maintained at the highest level
• Ensure all incidents and issues are formally investigated and recorded
