We are being asked by our CDA officials on the meter matter to pay 1000 naira, when asked why ?they say it's for the people to fix the meter. Contrary to the federal government having contracted 2 companies for the job. Like covid palliatives some people are profiting from federal governments relief initiatives for the masses. Share your experience on the metering exercise in your area if you live in the free meter states. Let's put an end to brazen pilfering by private and public officers. fijiano202: The point is someone is profiteering from something that is supposed to be free. Like the op said like the palliatives, these Meters have been handed over to CDAs for onward distribution to eligible property free of charge even up to installation. So what's the fee for? In my area, the meters have been politicised as the registration centre is even branded APC. Same as palliatives some politicians are ripping us off. |
