The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 236 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 65,693. One new death was recorded while there were 120 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 236 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos (142), Ogun (19), Kaduna (15), FCT (14), Imo (14), Rivers (14), Plateau (6), Katsina (3), Ekiti (2), Jigawa (2), Oyo (2), Cross River (1), Kano (1), Taraba (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 236 cases were from 14 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 142. Ogun State followed with 19 cases while Kaduna State had 15 cases. 120 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 61,457 from 61,337. One new death was recorded.
