The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 246 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 66,228. One new death was recorded while there were 102 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 246 new cases are reported from 11 states- Lagos (66), Plateau (63), FCT (48), Kaduna (21), Bayelsa (19), Rivers (12), Niger (9), Ogun (4), Ekiti (2), Bauchi (1), Osun (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 246 cases were from 11 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 66. Plateau State followed with 63 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 48 cases. 102 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 61,884 from 61,782. One new death was recorded.
