Ever wondered what the greatest negative force in the world is?
What is it that can threaten and subdue man's purpose for living? A force with so much power that can drown all your ambition, plans, and wishes in the sea of nothingness.

This invisible enemy has caged many lives and its poison spreads like cancer. There are many whose plans and goals never got off the drawing board.

They had all it takes to be more than successful in what they do- idea, money, talent, skills, support and even the license they need to do something that would announce them to their world; instead of taking those steps to greatness, they ask questions like "How will it be?" "Will anybody recommend me?" and so many "what ifs?".

At last those dreams never come true, no impact was made, they remained in the shadow until time was no more for them. No wonder the graveyard is the richest place to be, because it is there you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled.

Fear is one of man's greatest enemy. Many are held captive in its dungeon, with no hope of freedom; struggling daily with themselves to get a glimpse of light for their failing paths.

Many a dream has been shattered. Many destinies lie waste. So many lack courage to fight; for life is a battle and only the courageous can win. Many more have given up in the face of mocking challenges and some others are content to just stand and watch- better to be a spectator than to be involved.

Fear casts a spell that makes one feel useless and worthless. It is a clog in the wheel of success and progress.

What are your fears? What is it that poses a threat to your fulfilment? The Jewish race would have been exterminated if Queen Esther had not intervened on time. Think of it- she put her life in her own hands and stepped out to do "That which was not according to the law" (Esther 4:16)

To conquer fear, you have to do more than dream and hope. You have to step out in faith and do something. Everything you want to be is on the other side of fear.

You can conquer your fears and you can be free because, "If the Son has made you free, you are free indeed" (John 8:36). Fear has no power over you, after Calvary, where it was declared "finished" (John 19:30).

Pray and release yourself to the Love of God and let His love cast out your fears (1 John 4:18)

Surrender fully to God, claim His promises for your life, step out of your shell and try something worthwhile.

Make that call. Join that fellowship. Send that application. Learn that skill. Take up that role. Be proactive. Dare to be the best in What you do.

Take up arms against fear with truth and courage and take back what belongs to you. Don't give in to fear. Rather, be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. Know that God has not given you a spirit of fear; but of power, of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
