PLS i need some advice in making a choice between  buying either toyota corola 2005 or camry 2003.
I will appreciate an urgent useful advise about this 2 cars in terms of perfomance, fuel economy and any oter practcal tips that can help me arrive at a good decision.

i own a 2006 tpyota corolla, its been one of the best cars, i have ever had, its a ear old in use bought it at 97,000 miles and iv never had any issues with it, it is as reliable as toyotas come wit excellent fuel economy, fair acceleration and braking. i dont tink you can go wrong wit a corolla , as the ad says 27 million satisfied customers can be wrong

I use a 2002 Toyota Camry lovely car,however it depends on what you want,are you looking for a car with the best fuel economy,cheap maintenance? Then go for the 2005 Toyota Corolla. But if you are married with kids and you want a reliable sedan then go for the 2003 Toyota Camry. My final word the 2005 Toyota Corolla i belive will have a much lower mileage than the 2003 Toyota Camry, economic sense says go for the ride with a lower mileage,besides i will confess that routine maintenece of the toyota Camry cost between 6,000 and 7,000 naira,(Changing oil and oil filter), but when it comes to major changes like say God forbid a new engine then keep between 350 k and 420 k for a second hand engine,shocks 30-35k for just two,break pads original 4500,so really a Toyota corolla will make more economic sense, it also has a much better fuel consumption than a Toyota Camry.So make your choice based on what you want and happy sucessful buying

From the above you will agree the fuel economy of the Corolla is superior to the Camry,the parts are cheaper,maintenace will be cheaper.For a first car i will go for the 2005 Corolla it will serve you well and has very good second hand value. Also if the truth be told, for tokunbo cars, the closer the year of manufacturing to this year,the better for you because like for me i intend to buy another car and i will not buy any car less than 2006 for my peace of mind sake, a 2006 Toyota Corolla goes for 1.8 million, a 2006 Toyota Camry goes for 2.4 Million. i hope this makes your choice easier.

My wife and i have both.

Whenever i want to drive over a long distance with low budget for fuel, i use the corolla, but, i have to contend with it`s "paper weight" (when compared to camry`s) i.e you feel the impact of entering some small pot-holes more. the accerelation is super, speed is great.

But, if i want more ruggedness on the road, average fuel economy, driving over small pot-holes without feeling the impact much, infact, my wife prefers the camry when she is preg, more balance weight on the road at high speed, average start up acceleration ( 4 cylinders), great speed on the long run. i go for the toyota camry.
